Fine weather allowed us to use the shared community facilities adjacent to the Clontarf Foundation. Current students and their families joined with staff and SKWAD to welcome students enrolled for 2026 and their families. The outdoor location was ideal for a demonstration of the Loftus Rural Fire Brigade trucks' new water canon.
Music For All, a charity that supports access to participation in music making, funded a term of music therapy for all students.
A grant from the previous years Sutherland Shire Council managed ClubGrants Program funded additional learning support for a dedicated student travel training. Miranda Diggers RSL Club provided the funding. Future funding was confirmed in the 2025 round and SKWAD was invited to showcase the charity and Travel Training Program at the grants Presentation Ceremony.
In May SKWAD partnered with the Arts Theatre Cronulla to co-host the charity premier of "Midnight Murder at Hamlington Hall", with Dandelion Support Network.
A donation from the Rotary Club of Sutherland in combination with a Volunteers Grant have funded two new robust couches for the demountable vestibule.
SKWAD’s successful application saw building works for Student Transport Safety Shelters completed in term 4 2024, ready for students to return to school in 2025.

The annual Christmas Tree decorating competition at Cronulla RSL saw SKWAD celebrate diversity and inclusion with bespoke decorations.
SKWAD welcomed students commencing Inclusive Education in 2024 at the new Community Hub at Endeavour Sports High School on the 23rd of November. Recent funding from the Stronger Communities Programme provided new accessible outdoor settings and an all-weather umbrella, improving site amenity.
With basketball hoops in general recreational areas in much demand, SKWAD decided it was time to install a hoop with easier access.
